Peter Felstead's love of cricket, and his contributions both on and off the field, has consumed much of his time since he was a teenager.
There have been many highlights for the Nilma North resident over the past 51 years, and sitting high amongst them was his invitation to attend the third day of the Boxing Day test match at the MCG between Australia and India.
The invitation to a luncheon and prime viewing seats in the Olympic Stand came from the Victorian Cricket Association for him to receive a Cricket Australia and Cricket Victoria award for 50 years service to the game.
