Three Gippsland girls helped lead Victoria to a silver medal at the Hockey Australia Under 18 Championships on the Gold Coast last week.
Zizi Pozzebon, Bianca Zurrer and Marisah Mock were a part of the Victorian team that made it all the way to the final before being defeated by Queensland 0-1 in a last-minute heartbreaker.
Bianca was later named player of the tournament, adding to her quickly growing list of accomplishments in the sport.
It's a monumental achievement for the trio, especially given they were the only rural-based players selected in the team.
