An "ideas man," Russell Ford acknowledged the many people who had helped him put his ideas into action when he was honoured with a Paul Harris Fellow sapphire at the Drouin Rotary Club changeover dinner last week.
President Pauline Maunder said Russell had served as president, secretary, bulletin writer and board member but said he had provided an important contribution to the club's 70th anniversary this year in ensuring "the history will always live on."
