Thrilling wins for Neerim District teams
1 min read

The final end determined the winner in both of Neerim District's games on Saturday.
In both divisions, Neerim came out on top by one shot.
The club's division six team had a bye.
Division two: Neerim District defeated Morwell Club 76/75
Travelling to Morwell Club, Neerim players had to adjust to the slow conditions for this round 10 clash.
After 83 ends, the home team was one shot ahead.
With all players hanging on every bowl, Neerim's rink of the day - Ray Throup, Terry Giffin, Pat Aurisch and Peter Throup - held two shots, propelling Neerim to a one-shot overall win.
Division two now go into the festive season break in fourth place on the ladder.
Division four: Neerim District (2) defeated Traralgon (4) 81/80
Welcoming second placed Traralgon to Neerim South, the home team got away to a good lead.
However, the visitors came to terms with the fast conditions and - just like division two - it came down to the last end.
At the conclusion, Neerim had won by one shot.
The best rink was that of Roger Till, Richard Kerr Greg Bond and Tony Thornton.
Division two remain in seventh place on the ladder.
Weekend pennant bowlers will now enjoy a mid-season break, with play resuming on January 18.
