A vehicle towing a horse float rolled onto its side after a two car collision at Drouin East on Thursday afternoon.
A passenger in the vehicle was airlifted to the Royal Children's Hospital, with the driver of a second vehicle transferred to Dandenong Hospital.
Three passengers from the rolled vehicle also were taken to West Gippsland Hospital.
Police are investigating the cause of the collision between the two cars on Buln Buln Rd at about 3.50pm.

Both vehicles sustained major damage.
