A stolen Toyota Landcruiser was found burnt out in Warragul South last Tuesday.
Police said the vehicle had been reported stolen from the Woolworths carpark in Victoria St, Warragul the previous day.
They said it was the latest in a serious of Toyota Landcruiser thefts in the district.
The vehicle was parked and locked in a back carpark of Woolworths between 3.30pm and 9pm. There was no sign of a break-in.
Police said the burnt out vehicle was found in Hunters Rd, Warragul South at noon. Some driving lights had been removed.
