Attendance surpassed expectation when more than 80 people attended a Meet the Candidates forum in Warragul last Tuesday night.
Scope's lease, flood mapping and the proposed new library precinct were amongst key subjects put to the Baw Baw Shire Council candidates.
Residents also questioned political party affiliation, climate change aspirations and their preparation for a councillor role.
