An alarm was activated during a burglary at Drouin Bowls Club last Tuesday.
Police said the alarm may have spooked the offenders, who appear to have left empty handed.
The incident occurred at the Princes Way clubrooms at 12.30am.
It appears a door on the eastern side of the building was jimmied open before internal doors were forced open.
