A Bunyip woman was killed in a single vehicle crash at Drouin late Sunday night.
The 53-year-old woman was driving towards Longwarry on Longwarry-Drouin Rd when her vehicle left the road and crashed into trees at 11.15pm.
Police said the impact forced the car to flip onto its roof.
Police said nearby residents heard the crashing sound and went outside to investigate the noise.
The collision occurred at the 80 km/hour sign.
The cause of the collision is not known. Police investigations are continuing
It is the seventh fatality on Baw Baw Shire roads this year.
