Warragul turns black and white

Western Park was bathed in black and white last Tuesday as Collingwood Football Club hosted a series of clinics for local kids to improve their skills and meet their heroes.
Featuring the majority of the Magpies' senior men's list, the players took part in Auskick, Superkick and junior football clinics to cater for all ages and skill levels.
The clinics were a part of the club's Community Camp program which also saw them head into primary and secondary schools across Baw Baw Shire to engage with the local community.
Even those not participating - or too old to participate - were keen to get a glimpse of some of the club's star players, with plenty sticking around afterwards to try and snag a signature or selfie with their favourite Magpies.
Collingwood forward and former Gippslander Tim Membrey said having the chance to get out into the local community had been "well received" by the players and the kids.
"That's what it's all about. Coming down, learning some different skills and having some fun," he said.
"I remember being from Traralgon and we'd get AFL players come out to the schools, it was always pretty exciting and it didn't happen too often. I certainly haven't forgotten how special it was so hopefully some kids can take away some good memories from today."
Collingwood will kick off their 2025 season on Sunday March 9 against the GWS Giants in Sydney.
