Timber allegedly stolen from a building site was recovered when police intercepted two men driving a trailer loaded with timber late on Tuesday night.
Police intercepted the red Toyota Landcruiser travelling east in Princes Way at 11.45pm. The vehicle was towing a box trailer loaded with timber.
When police searched the trailer, a box of fasteners was found showing a Regis Ave address.
It is alleged the two men attended at a building site in Regis Ave and loaded the trailer with timber from the site.
A 50-year-old Warragul man and 20-year-old Warragul man were charged with theft offences.
