Think big: Major sports complex needed

A Baw Baw Shire councillor says a big thinking approach is needed to address major shortcomings in sporting facilities in the shire, especially the two major towns.

Cr Danny Goss believes sporting organisations in Warragul and Drouin, already struggling under increasing pressure to meet current demands of rapidly expanding populations, should urge council to look into developing a major complex that could cope with growth into the foreseeable future.
