A handbag was stolen from a vehicle at a rural property in Warragul last Tuesday night.
Police said the handbag, containing a purse, was reported stolen from a Dollarburn Rd address between 9pm on Tuesday and 2.20am on Wednesday.
It is believed the car, parked at the front of the house, had been left unlocked.
In a separate incident, a pair of sunglasses, Kindle e-reader and Powerbeats earbuds were stolen from a vehicle in Warragul.
Police said the theft was reported overnight on Saturday in Kurrajong Rd.
It is believed the car, parked in a driveway, was broken into between 7.30pm on Saturday and 8.50am on Sunday. The items were valued at $900.
