Theft from work site

A fire extinguisher and two UHF radio units were stolen from construction equipment at the Drouin Recreation Reserve last week.

The thefts occurred between 3pm Wednesday and 7am Thursday morning.
Police said offenders gained access to a work site at the recreation reserve where they accessed an excavator and bulldozer.
A UHF radio unit was stolen from the excavator and a fire extinguisher and UHF radio was stolen from the bulldozer.

In another incident, a trailer parked on a nature strip in a Drouin residential street was stolen during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Police said the black 8x5 trailer, with registration ZO3004 was stolen from King Parrot Bvd between 5am and 6am.
Police said the trailer wasn't secured with a locking device.
