Prolific Gippsland historian and author Jim Connolly recently released his 14th self-published book - a collection of biographies of notable Gippsland identities from past and present.
The book titled "Calling Gippsland Home: Famous Men and Women of Gippsland" was launched at Drouin RSL last month.
Research into Gippsland specific figures is often focused on sporting identities, but Jim's latest book delves into the remarkable lives of a wide array of high achievers with links to the region.

Jim grew up in Garfield and attended Warragul High School before becom
