Victorian Farmers Federation president Emma Germano voiced concerns about the future of farming when she addressed the West Gippsland Probus cluster dinner.
Ms Germano, a third-generation farmer from Mirboo North, visited Warragul to talk to local Probus members about the future of farming and food security in the wake of the pandemic.
She spoke passionately at the meeting about where she came from and her journey to VFF president, as well as her concerns that Australia will "sleep walk" into a famine.
