Almost 100 volunteers and staff enjoyed West Gippsland Healthcare Group's annual volunteer lunch held during National Volunteer Week.
The volunteers attending last week's luncheon provided more than 550 years of service to the organisation, with WGHG board chair Jo-Anne Moorfoot declaring "I can't understate the huge contribution volunteers make."
"The work you all do is greatly appreciated, and allows WGHG, to provide better services than we could without your support," Ms Moorfoot said. "Today's event is a part of National Volunteer Week and is a chance for all of us to celebrate and recognise the vital contribution volunteers make and say 'thank you' for the amazing work you do."
