TAFE Gippsland will introduce hybrid and electric vehicle training after receiving a $960,000 federal government grant.
The federal investment will be used to replace key pieces of specialist equipment and introduce hybrid vehicle (HV) and electric vehicle (EV) resources.
Victorian Senator Jess Walsh visited TAFE Gippsland's Baw Baw Skills Centre last Monday to announce the funding, which will support the delivery of EV automotive training at TAFE Gippsland across regional campuses at Warragul, Bairnsdale, Leongatha, Sale and Yallourn.
