West Gippsland students are among a group of students an politicians hard at work preparing to trek the Kokoda Track in July.
The students are recipients of the George Collins Scholarship, named after a relative of Member for Eastern Victorian Region Melina Bath, who also is joining the group with Gary Blackwood of Warragul, Member for Gippsland East Tim Bull and Nationals leader Peter Walsh.
Ms Bath said she was excited and nervous about next month's trek.
