Street library for Tetoora Road

It was Christmas get-together number 101 for the Tetoora Road community earlier this month.
The annual celebration that began in the 1920s has gone ahead each year for more than a century even during two world wars and, more recently, the COVID pandemic.
The weather wasn't too kind this month but did not deter the enthusiasm of the children that waited excitedly for the arrival of Santa.
Committee member Silvia Pongracic said about 40 people attended this year for the festive season social gathering that doubled as an official opening of the street library in the car park of the Tetoora Road hall.
The library that enables people to leave and swap books suitable for all age groups was made possible by a donation from the street library organisation and Baw Baw Shire council approval to locate it on council property.
