Stop sticks used to recover stolen car

An off-duty police officer located a stolen car in a Warragul carpark, leading to the arrest of three teenagers.
Police said a gold Lexus, reported stolen from Traralgon, was seen in the Warragul Leisure Centre carpark at 10am on Sunday.
Following the report from an off-duty member, police successfully deployed stop sticks in the driveway and deflated all four tyres.
Police arrested one teenager who fled on foot as well as an another two teenagers inside the centre.
A 15-year-old boy from Longwarry and a 15-year-old girl from Traralgon were charged and bailed to appear at children's court at a later date.
A 13-year-old boy from Longwarry was released pending summons.
In an unrelated incident, an electric bike, valued at $3500, was reported stolen from a garage in Warragul last Monday night.
Police believe a garage roller door was forced to gain entry to the Peace Ave garage.
A black Avanti electric bike and charger were reported stolen during the burglary.
