SnowFest raises $12,700
1 min read

Baw Baw Food Relief has received $12,700 in donations raised during Warragul Business Group's SnowFest event.
The cheque was recently presented by Triple M staff to several representatives from the not-for-profit organisation.

Triple M put on a radiothon and organised a GoFundMe page in the lead-up to SnowFest to support Baw Baw Food Relief's Pay it Forward program.
Donations were received from members of the community in support of those who were dropped in SnowFest's ice-cold dunk tank to raise money as part of the festivities.
Jan Morton, team support officer at Baw Baw Food Relief said the community's donations had helped the organisation immensely to "feed the need".
"Thank you, the residents of the Baw Baw Shire for your continual support and commitment to make someone's day a little better by providing food to fill their bellies," she said.
"Every donation goes a long way toward doing this."
Baw Baw Food Relief's Pay it Forward program supports people experiencing financial hardship to receive their groceries free of charge.
As little as $10 can go toward the program and help a person or family in need.
Anyone in need of emergency food relief can come and speak to the team of volunteers at Factory 6/11 Pearse St Warragul, from Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm.
