The streets of Warragul were once again transformed into a winter wonderland on Friday night as Snowfest Gippsland returned for its sixth year.
Warragul Business Group Snowfest committee member Karin Jones said an estimated 18,000 people donned their winter gear to attend the event.
"We feel it (attendance) was the same as last year, certainly the same number of ticket sales, but it was spread over a longer period because we started an hour earlier at 3pm," Ms Jones said.
"We started earlier to allow preschool families to come and enjoy (the event) before the bigger crowds."
