The impact of cost of living pressures on small businesses was the focus of discussions when Shadow Minister for Finance Senator Jane Hume and Liberal candidate for Monash Mary Aldred met with business and community representatives last week.
The two-day visit included stops at Fankhauser Apples in Drouin, farms in Thorpdale and the Corinella Community Centre, as well as conversations with local women in business community representatives and young professionals.
Ms Aldred said it was important to highlight cost of living pressures across Monash during Senator Hume's visit.
