Local veterinarian Amy Hewitt laced up her runners and jumped on the treadmill on Thursday last week, running 100 kilometres in scrubs over 12 hours to raise awareness for veterinarian mental health.
Taking place at Voyage Fitness in Warragul, the run was set up in collaboration with "Sophie's Legacy" - a veterinary mental health advocacy and suicide prevention charity set up in honour of vet surgeon Sophie Putland, who died by suicide in September 2021.
