Drouin Rotary Club has donated $27,088 to purchase three new stretcher trolleys for the West Gippsland Hospital's emergency department.
Rotary club president Pauline Maunder recently joined with fellow Rotarians Tim Wills and Carol Fenwick to visit the emergency department and learn how the stretcher trolleys would be used.
The new stretcher trolleys allow staff to sit and position patients comfortably as well as raising and lowering them with the touch of a button.
