Road woes set to go

by Emma Ballingall
Designs needed to ease traffic congestion in Warragul and Drouin are a step closer to fruition after the Coalition matched a $3 million promise from Labor on Thursday morning.

Liberal candidate for Monash Mary Aldred said the announcement would ensure the right planning gets underway - instead of a "slap dash" approach - to fix the arterial road network.
Ms Aldred said Warragul and Drouin was the fastest growing region in Australia and "we've got to make sure infrastructure keeps pace."

She also reinforced a $4.2 million commitment to a roundabout project
