After a year of monthly council meetings, Baw Baw Shire will return to a twice monthly meeting cycle next year.
However, the 1pm timeslot will stay for the meeting held on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
Evening meetings at 5.30pm will return on the second Wednesday.
The calendar was set after unanimous support from the new councillor group.
Cr Danny Goss, after being elected mayor, declared council would "return to two meetings per month" and "be open and transparent right across the board."
Whilst not making any promises, Cr Goss signalled he would work to open briefings as much as possible and make changes to submissions and questions on notice "at a minimum."
He said council didn't have secrets like some in the community believed.
Council will next meet on Wednesday, December 4 at 1pm. The first meeting of 2025 will be held on Wednesday, February 12 at 5.30pm.
