Just three months after Myki's regional fare cap was introduced, public transport fees are set to increase in line with the Consumer Price Index.
The daily fare cap will increase from $9.20 for a full fare to $10 and $4.60 concession to $5.
Fare increases are usually delivered in line with CPI on January 1 each year, however, the increase was delayed this year to help ease cost of living pressures and allow the introduction of cheaper regional fees.
