Warragul Community House welcomed community members to a forum on food security in the Baw Baw Shire as part of "World Food Day" last Wednesday.
World Food Day is celebrated internationally on October 16 to commemorate the date of the founding of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation in 1945. The day is celebrated widely by organisations concerned with hunger and food security.
More than 60 people attended the Warragul event, which was held on the Community House's new deck overlooking the community garden and Eastern Park.
