The first West Gippsland Railtowns Food and Wine Festival at Garfield proved popular earlier this month.
Hundreds of people flocked to Garfield to test some of the region's best food and wine.
The event was organised by the Garfield Community Association and was supported by Cardinia Shire Council and the West Gippsland Progress Association.
Among the items on offer were candles, handmade jewellery, jams and preserves, wines, cheese and pasta.
Many stores in Garfield also remained open for the festival, providing the perfect opportunity for visitors to escape from the heat and have a browse.
Event organisers took to social media last week to thank the community members, attendees, businesses and volunteers who made the event possible.
"A massive shout out and thank you to all our volunteers that supported us in the lead-up, on the day and post-event. Your 'can-do' attitude and efforts did not go unnoticed," they wrote.
