Quick actions result in arrest

A resident's quick actions resulted in the arrest of a man at a Yarragon rural property on Saturday night.
Police praised a witness for reporting and maintaining observations of a suspicious vehicle at the Yarragon-Shady Creek Rd property at about 8.30pm.
It resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old Leongatha man who was located in a stolen truck. The truck, a white Mitsubishi Canter, had been reported stolen from the Keysborough area on Friday. A quantity of drugs was located inside.
The man was charged and remanded to appear at the Latrobe Valley Magistrates' Court.
Community members who notice suspicious vehicles or activity are urged to notify police immediately.
