The Poowong township is set to celebrate its 150th anniversary this weekend with three days of events planned.
First settled in 1874 Poowong is one of the oldest towns in South Gippsland and the weekend will recognise and celebrate the town's history and people. Poowong also is home to the Gippsland Giant Earthworm.
