A Warragul woman is petitioning for public safety officers (PSOs) to be stationed at major train stations along the Gippsland line.
Having witnessed an incident on a replacement bus service, Joy Vikas was inspired to turn a terrible experience into something good.
Ms Vikas said a bus driver was unable to remove a passenger who appeared intoxicated and using offensive language.
Had they had an option to pull into a train station with PSOs, she believed it may not have escalated.
