A new sports pavilion at the Longwarry Recreation Reserve is a step closer to fruition after a design was selected.
However, the town's sporting groups will now face a waiting game for funding. Until then, no date or timeline can be set for works.
After consultation with user groups and sports bodies, Baw Baw Shire councillors unanimously endorsed a new pavilion at an estimated cost of $8.54 million.
