The outdoor plaza proposed as part of the Baw Baw Culture and Connection Precinct has endless possibilities, says Baw Baw Shire mayor Annemarie McCabe. She urged residents to visualise gathering in the plaza to watch the 2026 Commonwealth Games or the AFL grand final on the big screen, viewing illuminated sculpture festivals, attending glow in the dark inflatable fun parks or settling into a beanbag for live music on a summer night.
