An unlikely partnership between two local woodworking clubs and the Australian Federal Police has resulted in "something good from something evil."
A partnership between local woodworking clubs and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) came to an end in Warragul last week with the handover of a commemorative plaque and 10 truncheons.
The relationship between the unlikely trio started when the AFP uncovered 154kg of methamphetamine hidden in a shipping container full of padauk wood in 2016.
Drugs had been placed inside 14 of the 121 logs that had been shipped from Africa.
