Musician’s open garden a great success
1 min read

The recent opening of renowned musician Lisa Gerrard's garden, "The Cork Tree", raised $9088.30 for the Baw Baw Live4Life crew.
The sunny day saw garden enthusiasts and picnic goers alike venture to the Drouin West property to explore the sprawling gardens and connect with nature.

Lisa said supporting Live4Life with the open garden was important to her because of her own mental health experiences.
"It mattered to me because I think I've suffered with it all my life, and the only thing that's really rescued me is my music," Lisa said.
Youth Live4Life chief executive officer Bernard Galbally thanked Lisa for her ongoing support of youth mental health and the Live4Life program.
"This is what Live4Life is all about - bringing communities together to support young people's mental health," Mr Galbally said. "To have an international artist like Lisa Gerrard open her garden in between international touring commitments to raise money for the local Live4Life program in Baw Baw is incredible. We are so thankful for Lisa and her family's deep commitment to young people."
