A 68-year-old Longwarry man died in a fatal motorcycle crash at Ripplebrook on new year's day.
Police said emergency services were called after a motorcyclist lost control and crashed on Westernport Rd about 11.50am on Wednesday.
They said the rider, a 68-year-old Longwarry man, was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
Police said the motorcycle was travelling in a north-easterly direction at the time of the crash, which occurred between Invermay Rd West and Hanley Rd.
It is believed the motorcycle veered across double white lines whilst navigating a left hand bend before leaving the road.
