Christmas will be a bit brighter for some as Trafalgar-based mental health charity Bettermentall's Christmas gift drive is currently underway.
After a successful event last year, the organisation is calling on the community to again donate gifts for families doing it tough this holiday season.
Specifically, those running the drive are asking for new and unwrapped toys, crafts, clothes, books, gift cards and games suitable for ages birth to 17-years-old up until December 15.
Bettermentall has partnered up with local businesses to make the process as smooth as possible, allowing donations to be taken various places in the local area. These include: Eat Live Fresh (Trafalgar), The Makeup Hub (Warragul), GEST (Morwell), Community Bank Trafalgar and District, Voyage Fitness (Warragul and Moe), Traralgon Relaxation and Recovery Centre, The Fitness Factory (Drouin), the Bettermentall Hub (Tuesdays and Thursdays only), The 44 Gym (Traralgon), Soulistic (Traralgon), Gippsland Multicultural Services (Mowell) and The Face Cave (Warragul).

Bettermentall also will be hosting a special Christmas Day breakfast for the community at their hub.
Featuring breakfast classics like eggs and bacon, pancakes and fruit salad, the event is open to everyone from 9am to 11am at 36 Contingent St.
Face painting, games and Santa will be on offer for families and kids.
