Liquorland stores in Warragul and Drouin were the targets of thefts on two consecutive days.
Police said two men entered the Warragul store at 1.50pm on Monday July 11 and walked to the whiskey section.
One picked up three one litre bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey and the other picked up a one litre Jim Beam bottle.
Police said the pair left without paying.
One of the men was described as wearing a grey hoodie, and black pants with a facemask, while the other was described as wearing a red jacket and black pants.
At 7.15pm the following day, a woman aged about 16 or 17 years old, 150cm tall with light brown hair, entered the shop and asked for assistance from a staff member with something at the back of the store.
