Drouin Library held an official mural opening recently.
Students from Drouin Secondary College collaborated on the project for the last several months under the guidance of Sheldon Headspeath from State of the Art Murals.
They were excited to finally unveil the design to family, friends, library staff and teachers.
Myli information literacy officer Lisa Kirwin coordinated the project. At the opening, she thanked the students and their families for being involved, Drouin Secondary College, Mr Headspeath from State of the Art Murals and Tanarly Hood from Baw Baw Shire Council.
Myli chief executive officer Leanne Williams and manager of library services Michelle Nicolls also attended and congratulated the students involved.
All the students agreed the hardest part of creating the mural was getting the lines to be clean and sharp - but were very happy with what they had achieved.
On the day, the student's parents commented on it being great to see the students engaged in something not involving their devices.
The mural is located in the library's teen area, which hosts various gaming consoles and study facilities.
