Warragul Leisure Centre was evacuated on Monday afternoon after a toy plane was mistaken for a possible explosive.
Police said an employee found the polystyrene plane, which had "this is not a toy, this a bomb" written on its side.
Police were called around 3pm and the building was evacuated.
The plane was soon confirmed to not be a threat by police.
