Prominent national Indigenous leader Noel Pearson will be in Warragul next week to speak at a public meeting about the views and aspirations of traditional owners.
The Committee for Gippsland (C4G) has partnered with Gippsland's Gunaikurnai Land and Waters Aboriginal Corporation to bring Mr Pearson to address the gathering at the West Gippsland Arts Centre on Monday night
C4G chief executive officer Tony Cantwell said his visit was an opportunity for people from across Gippsland to be part of an important conversation and hear from someone of Noel Pearson's experience and calibre.
