Storm affected communities were given a helping hand last week as residents continued to struggle without power and other services. At Labertouche on Friday, a Baw Baw Shire Council relief pop-up service included the Salvation Army catering truck, EMMA the Ausnet van to provide residents with Wi-Fi access and charging points, Victorian Council of Churches counselling services and representatives from council’s customer service team. Providing catering at Labertouche as part of the storm response with the Salvation Army catering truck are Evan Cassidy, Shirley McKean and John Van Wageningen. Photograph: AMANDA EMARY
