A series of church service will be held around West Gippsland on Friday to celebrate World Day of Prayer.
Services will be held at:
Bunyip - St Joseph's Catholic Church, Iona at 10.30am with refreshments to follow.
Warragul - Church of Christ at 10am, refreshments afterwards.
Yarragon - Uniting Church at 10am, with morning tea to follow.
World Day of Prayer is celebrated on the first Friday in March in more than 170 countries around the world.
This year the service was written by the Cook Islands and includes issues that confront its people every day so other countries can be more informed in their prayers.
