Police said the incident occurred in Kent St on Friday, January 28 at 4pm. Noises from the garage alerted an occupant of the house.
One youth was described as having thick curly black hair, a second was wearing a red helmet face covering and black clothing, and a third was dressed all in black.
A fourth youth was reported standing as a lookout on the footpath. He was described as Caucasian and wearing a white hoodie.
