Car hits Drouin business

A car, allegedly driven by a drunk driver, recently crashed into brickwork outside Warragul police station.
The driver, a 51-year-old Warragul man, was immediately suspended from driving after the incident on Friday, January 31.
Police said a Holden Captiva collided with brickwork after failing to negotiate the roundabout at the intersection of Mason and Palmerston Sts at about 11.20pm.
It is alleged the driver had been involved in previous incidents, including indecent assaults, at a licensed venue before the crash.
Police allege the driver attempted to flee before being arrested, assaulted police officers and refused a preliminary breath test.
The man was released and will be charged by summons.
