Tools were reported stolen during a recent burglary at Drouin Secondary College.
Police said two people travelling in a red Holden Commodore sedan were captured on CCTV at the school.
They allege entry was forced to a school storage shed and tools stolen on Sunday, December 8. Security attended after an alarm was activated at about 4am.
Police said the burglary may be linked to a burglary at Down to Earth Garden Centre in Longwarry Rd on the same night.
They said a black safe containing cash was reported stolen. It is believed bolt cutters were used to cut a gate lock before the front door was jimmied open.
Police said the safe was later recovered from the Drouin West Cemetery on Old Sale Rd.
