Alanna Pomeroy has been elected to represent the Bunyip ward in Cardinia Shire.
The results were officially declared by the Victorian Electoral Commission yesterday.
Ms Pomeroy attracted 3929 (55.67 per cent) of the first preference votes over Travis Parker's 3129 votes (44.33 per cent).
